A few new wines for august

A few new wines to try for your august endeavours. This is a summary of some wines in many different and disparate pricepoints that you can safely serve your friends with little fear if recriminations.
Chardonnay: -Columbia Crest Twin vines $7- buttery, soft, cheap. Washingon St.
-Domaine Napa $12 - Butter, apple, light oak. Cali.
-Benziger carneros $13 - Buttery with heavy mouthfeel good oak. Cali.
-Lava Cap Eldorado $18 - Mer Soleil and Rombauer quality without the high price. All proven winners. Cali.

Sauvignon Blanc: -Pascal Toso $8 - Crisp, clean and lean with a soft round finish and light citrus with no bite. Perfect. Argentina.
-Tangent Edna valley $11 - The perfect pairing when you need a quality white and your torn. Refreshing lemon zest and quince with light spice on the finish. Racy and vibrant. Seafood or salad or a ham sandwich. Bring it on. Cali.
-Alphonse Mellot Sancerre $22 - The nicest sauvignon blanc I've had in years with the softest roundest most full bodied mouthfeel a person could ask for. Cellarable and loveable. Flakey halibut and cilantro would be an epiphany match-up. France.

All for now
